As a speech-language pathologist with more than four decades of experience working with children, I have seen firsthand how storytelling, dramatic play, movement, conversation, and shared experiences build the foundation for strong communication and literacy skills. Every story, game, costume, and activity at Reading & Speech, Leaf & Loom has been thoughtfully designed to encourage children to listen, speak, imagine, ask questions, solve problems, and express their ideas with confidence.
Children strengthen vocabulary as they discover new characters and explore the language of nature. They develop comprehension by acting out stories and sequencing events. They build social communication through cooperative games and imaginative role play. Reading, writing, speaking, listening, and creative thinking become connected through joyful experiences rather than isolated lessons.
